Where Were You 5 Years Ago?

When was the last time you looked back at your "younger" self and thought, "damn who was that person?" Facebook is a great tool to view where you were, at certain times in your life, and it doesn't cease to remind you either... "View your memories from 5 years ago on this day" (fun drunk pick from your mid-20's) uh, no thanks!

When you take a look, though, you will see that even just 5 short years ago, you likely have changed so much. You've grown as a person, maybe in business, you've made new friends, built new relationships... Life is ever-changing. These reminders can really put things into perspective and help motivate us to stay on track or maybe even show us we need to speed up or change the track we're currently on.

Whatever the case may be, take a look at where you were at 5 years ago and see where the time has taken you and award yourself for your growth and reminisce on the path you've taken to get to where you are today.

It is amazing what just a few years can do. You may have worked a job you hated and now you're doing something you love, and 5 years ago may feel like a lifetime ago to you now. If you review your past 5 years only see that you are still doing the same old things, and nothing has really changed, it may be time to break some habits.

Think of where you're headed and decide if you're moving towards a bright future or if now is the time to make sure you're taking the right steps to be the future you that can reflect back and say, I remember 5 years ago when I decided to start this journey to TODAY!
